It’s OK to Change

Life is a continual process of learning. As we acquire new information, we can make more informed decisions—whether it’s improving our efficiency in daily tasks, advancing our careers through education, or refining our skills in activities such as golf, pickleball, or playing a musical instrument.
Our perspectives evolve as we learn and grow. Ten years ago, innovations like online grocery shopping or achieving new milestones in our careers and hobbies may have seemed unlikely. Similarly, our opinions shift as we encounter new data previously unknown to us.
Making decisions based on limited information does not mean those choices were incorrect; it simply reflects the best judgment possible at the time. Continuous learning is essential. As you gain new insights, regularly reassess your views and consider whether your previous perspectives remain valid.
“You have the RIGHT to change your mind.”
– Oprah Winfrey
Changing your perspective in light of new information is not only acceptable—it is necessary for growth. The real mistake is holding onto outdated beliefs when you know they are no longer accurate. Embrace change, keep learning, and continue progressing.
