The Power of Together

“I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do.” — Jana Stanfield
These words hit home for me. Our world is craving goodness, healing, and hope, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by how much needs fixing. But the truth is, none of us is meant to carry that burden alone. The real power emerges when we show up — side by side. Together, we build possibility. Together, we create hope.
As many of you know, I am an alcoholic in recovery. My 12-step program teaches me to lean on a power greater than myself, but it also teaches something just as important: I cannot do life alone. I tried. I failed. And then I learned that when people rally together — supporting, listening, encouraging — what once felt impossible becomes achievable.
That’s the heart of this message: your contribution matters. My contribution matters. We don’t have to fix everything. We were never meant to. But when each of us brings forward the good we can do, those efforts join together and become something far greater — a collective force capable of healing, transforming, and inspiring.
Let’s choose to be part of that force.
